Terms and Conditions

Last updated: December 15, 2024

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using QRGen at https://qrgen.toolverse.space(the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

QRGenis a free QR code generator that allows you to create, customize, and download QR codes for a variety of use cases including URLs, WiFi, contact cards, email, WhatsApp, SMS, PDF links, and more. The Service is provided “as is” and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Create QR codes that link to illegal content, malware, phishing pages, or any content that violates applicable law.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Harass, defame, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against any individual or group.
  • Distribute spam, unsolicited communications, or deceptive content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, overload, or abuse the Service.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.

We reserve the right to disable or delete any QR code or account that violates these terms without notice.

4. Accounts

Creating an account is optional for static QR codes. Dynamic QR codes require a free account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@qrgen.toolverse.space if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Intellectual Property

The QR codes you generate using your own content remain your property. QRGen does not claim ownership over QR code content you create.

The Service itself — including the website design, software, logos, and brand elements — is the exclusive property of QRGen and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without prior written permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information generated by the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QRGen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $10 if you have not paid anything).

8. Dynamic QR Codes and Uptime

Dynamic QR codes rely on our redirect service. While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not responsible for financial or reputational losses arising from temporary unavailability of dynamic redirect services. For mission-critical applications, we recommend using static QR codes.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If not resolved, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.

11. Contact

If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at hello@qrgen.toolverse.space or visit our Contact page.
